Для приезда в Турцию нужен заграничный паспорт, действительный 120 дней с даты въезда в Турцию. Виза для граждан РФ не нужна, тест на ковид не нужен.

• Треккинговые палки (по желанию). Можно арендовать тут https://lycianway-rental.ru, базируются в Анталье.
• Беруши для маршрута по западной Ликийской тропе (у одного отеля есть петух, который просыпается в 5 утра);
• Маленький рюкзак для ежедневного использования;
• Подпопник (по желанию, но это очень удобная штука);
• Термос (по желанию);
• Вилка/ложка (для перекуса на тропе);
• Компактное полотенце из микрофибры (если есть).

Нужно взять лекарства, если есть хронические болезни.
Пластыри и антисептики по желанию.

Воды на маршруте почти нигде нет, поэтому надо ее всегда брать с собой из отеля или магазина, на человека лучше брать минимум по 1 литру в день. Лучше 1.5.

Завтраки в отелях, они включены в стоимость программы.

Обеды: в какие-то дни в кафе на маршруте, в какие-то дни нужно взять с собой перекус. В супермаркетах Migros (они есть в Анталье, Демре, Фетие, Каше) продаются вот такие пакеты, они очень даже съедобные и уже готовые, водой их заливать не надо. Можно продавцам в магазине показать картинку, они подскажут, где они на прилавке.

Можно докупить консервированного тунца, турецкую долму (рис со специями в виноградных листьях, но на любителя), баклажаны, фасоль или что-то ещё. Выбор есть. Фрукты-овощи-орехи-батончики также в магазинах продаются.

Подробно о том, в какие дни нужно будет купить перекус, а в какие дни будут кафе на маршруте, будет сказано в финальной программе.

Ужины: в отелях или в кафе рядом с отелями. Подробно про ужины будет указано в финальной программе.

Из или в Анталью частные трансферы можно заказать через компанию SkyTransfer. +90 (553) 341 89 89, это их ватсап и телеграм, можно писать на русском. Оплата водителю по факту в долларах, евро или лирах, или заранее по банковской карте (российские не работают). Стоимость трансфера до Демре – 120 долларов, до Каша – 150 долларов, до Фетие – 150 долларов.


Из Даламана или в Даламан частный трансфер можно заказать через компанию Bluehill travel, это их ватсап +90 533 321 39 56. Из Даламана в Фетие - 55 долларов, из Даламана в Каш - 120-140 долларов, из Даламана в Демре - 150 долларов.

Ниже описано, как добираться на общественном транспорте.

Из аэропорта Антальи до автовокзала Антальи:
НА ТАКСИ: торговаться не надо, поездка будет по счётчику. Принимают только наличку. Обратите внимание, таксист должен обнулить счётчик после того, как вы сели в такси. Поездка стоит в районе 25 долларов.

НА ТРАМВАЕ: прямо напротив выхода из аэропорта будет трамвайная остановка. Вот локация: Dropped pin https://maps.app.goo.gl/vNKzbizaDNiyjCHFA?g_st=ic. Садитесь на любой из двух трамваев и едете до остановки İsmetpaşa (если вам надо в центр) либо otogar (автовокзал). За трамвай можно заплатить по карте (российские не работают), либо за наличные деньги купить билеты в автомате (для этого вы должны обменять минимальную сумму долларов на лиры в аэропорту. Билетные автоматы есть наверху после подъема на эскалаторе и у лифтов. Проезд стоит около 1 доллара.

Ваш самолёт могут посадить в другом терминале, который находится неподалеку. В этом случае вам надо будет дойти пешком, либо доехать на такси до трамвайной остановки (локация выше) и потом уже садиться на трамвай.

Автовокзал Анталья - автовокзал Фетие: Вы заходите в автовокзал, проходите через сканер, и спрашиваете у любого сотрудника “Fethiye”. Вас проводят к вашему автобусу. Автовокзал Каш - отель. Добраться до отеля можно пешком, Каш очень маленький. Либо можно взять такси, но стоимость поездки фиксированная, от ~8 долларов, даже если поездка длится 2 минуты.

Автобусы в Анталью отправляются от автовокзала.

Если вы добираетесь из Олюдениза, возьмите такси или садитесь на маршрутку до автовокзала здесь. Остановка называется Otogar.

Если вы уже в Фетие: нужно взять такси от вашего отеля до автовокзала .

Аэропорт Даламан – автовокзал Фетие: Выходите из аэропорта и прямо напротив него будет автобусная стоянка. Локация стоянки. На стоянке будут автобусы. Вам нужно сесть на автобус, на котором написано Fethiye. Оплата проезда водителю в лирах (для этого нужно обменять минимальную сумму долларов или евро на лиры в аэропорту), либо по карте (российские карты не работают). Оставшиеся деньги лучше обменять в Фетие или Каше по более выгодному курсу. Расписания для этих автобусов нет, они подстраиваются под прилетающие рейсы. Ехать примерно 45 минут. Проезд стоит ~3-5 долларов.

Автовокзал Фетие – отель: проще взять такси. Будет стоить примерно ~7-10 долларов.

Каш - Демре: в Каше нужно сесть на автобус, который идет до Антальи и выйти в Демре на автовокзале (Отогар). Если ночь в Демре не входит в ваш тур и вы бронировали гостиницу самостоятельно, то надо уехать до вашего отеля на такси (будут на вокзале) или дойти пешком.

В апреле-мае и сентябре-октябре достаточно жарко. Комфортно ходить в шортах и футболке, но на тропе есть колючки и острые камни. Есть минимальная вероятность осадков.
В ноябре-марте прохладнее, обязательно должен быть с собой дождевик и теплая одежда на вечер (штаны и кофта).

В сентябре-октябре и апреле-мае достаточно жарко, температура 25-27 градусов. Комфортно ходить в шортах и футболке. Есть минимальная вероятность осадков.
В ноябре-марте чуть прохладнее, температура около 20-23 градусов. Нужно иметь штаны и ветровку для трекинга и одеваться по погоде.

Должна быть обязательно. Я свою покупаю в Тинькофф. Страховка должна быть с опцией “Активный отдых”. Вот так выглядит покупка через приложение.

Интернет должен быть обязательно.

С собой либо в долларах или евро, либо на зарубежной карте. Рубли тоже могут обменять, но не везде.

В аэропорту деньги лучше не менять, либо менять минимальное количество, которое будет необходимо для проезда.

В Демре:

Местные жители чаще всего не говорят на английском языке. Для общения с ними можно использовать Google translate. Можно заранее загрузить язык в телефон и тогда переводить можно без использования интернета.

To enter Turkey, you need a passport that is valid for 180 days from the date of entry into Turkey.

For optimal comfort, it's advisable to wear hiking shoes with a sturdy sole that's about 1.5 sizes larger than your foot. This ensures that your toes, particularly the big toe (and ideally, all the others), won't hit the front of the shoe when you're descending downhill. Walking downhill with your toes jammed against the shoe's front can lead to discomfort and foot issues if your footwear isn't chosen correctly.

Some hikers on my tours suggest that trekking boots are indispensable. If you have a pair, it's a good idea to bring them along. However, keep in mind that the Lycian Way can get quite hot, so trekking sneakers can be a suitable alternative.

Consider bringing Crocs along. Not for the trail itself, but they can be a welcome relief for your feet in the evenings after a day in sneakers.

Trekking poles are more of a personal choice. If you're accustomed to hiking with them, then by all means, bring them along. I, for one, always prefer to hike with trekking poles.

• Trekking poles: Optional but recommended, especially in the eastern sections. You can rent them by contacting +90 535 599 59 28 (WhatsApp). They speak English and are based in Antalya, with delivery options available to some other locations.
• Earplugs (for Fajr prayer calls in the morning);
• Small backpack for daily use;
• Seat pad (optional, but it's a very convenient item);
• Thermos (optional);
• Fork/spoon (for snacks on the trail);
• Compact microfiber towel (if available).

You need to take medications if you have chronic illnesses.
Band-aids and antiseptics are recommended.

There is almost no water along the route, so you should always carry it with you from the hotel or store. It is best to take at least 1 liter per person per day, preferably 1.5 liters. Detailed information about water availability on the trail will be provided in the guidebook.

Breakfasts are provided at the hotels and are included in the program cost.

Lunches: on some days, you will eat at cafés along the route, and on other days, you will need to bring snacks with you. Supermarkets like Migros (found in Antalya, Demre, Fethiye, and Kaş) sell ready-to-eat packets that do not require water. You can show a picture of these packets (below) to the store clerks, and they will help you find them on the shelves.

You can also buy canned tuna, Turkish dolma (rice with spices in grape leaves, though this is an acquired taste), eggplants, beans, or other items. There is a variety to choose from. Fruits, vegetables, nuts, and bars are also available in stores.

Detailed information about which days you need to buy snacks and which days will have cafés along the route will be provided in the guidebook.

Dinners: at hotels or cafés near the hotels. Detailed information about dinners will be provided in the final program.

Below are the details on how to reach different places by bus

1. From Antalya Airport to Antalya Bus Station:

1.1. Taxi: No need to bargain, the trip will be by meter. They accept cash and sometimes cards. Make sure the driver resets the meter after you get in the taxi to avoid being overcharged. The trip costs around 20 USD.

1.2. OR tram: Right opposite the airport exit, there is a tram stop. Here is the location: Dropped pin. Take either of the two trams to the İsmetpaşa stop (if you need to go to the city center) or to the Otogar stop (bus station). You can pay for the tram by card or with cash at the machine (you need to exchange a minimum amount of dollars for lira at the airport). Ticket machines are located upstairs after taking the escalator or near the elevators. The fare is around 2 USD or less.

Note: Your plane may land at a different terminal located nearby. In this case, you will need to walk or take a taxi to the tram stop (location above) and then take the tram.

Take the tram to the Otogar stop. Here is the location: Dropped pin. After arriving, you need to walk around the entire bus station building and reach this point: Dropped pin.

Antalya Bus Station to Fethiye Bus Station: You enter the bus station, go through the scanner, and ask any staff member for “Fethiye.” They will direct you to your bus. The bus departs every hour on the hour, i.e., at 12:00, 13:00, etc., but the schedule may change. The schedule can be found here: https://www.obilet.com/otobus-bileti/antalya-fethiye. You need to look for the bus from the company Bati Antalya. The fare is 5-7 USD, and the trip takes 3.5 hours.

Kaş Bus Station to hotel: You can walk to the hotel as Kaş is very small. Alternatively, you can take a taxi, but the fare is fixed, starting from 5 euros, even if the trip lasts 2 minutes.

Antalya Bus Station to Airport (or City Center): The bus will arrive approximately here: link. After that, you need to walk around the entire bus station building and come to this point: link.

Proceed to the tram platform (through the underground passage with moving walkways) and take the tram towards Havalimani. If you need to get off in the city center, get off earlier. The final stop is the airport. The trip to the airport takes about 40 minutes.

Dalaman Airport to Fethiye Bus Station: Exit the airport, and right across from it, there will be a bus stop. Here is the location of the stop. You need to take the bus labeled Fethiye. Pay the fare to the driver in lira (you need to exchange a minimum amount of dollars or euros for lira at the airport) or by card. It is better to exchange the remaining money in Fethiye or Kaş at a better rate. There is no schedule for these buses; they adjust to arriving flights. The trip takes about 45 minutes. The fare is 5-7 euros.

Fethiye Bus Station to Hotel: It’s easier to take a taxi. It will cost about 10 USD.

To Fethiye bus station:

If you are staying in Oludeniz, take a public minibus or a taxi from here to Fethiye bus station first.

If you are staying in Fethiye: better to take a taxi from your hotel to Fethiye bus station.

Fethiye Bus Station to Dalaman Airport: Take a bus that departs from this point. The bus schedule can be viewed here: link. The fare is 7-10 USD. The trip takes about 45 minutes. The bus will stop opposite the airport entrance.

At the beginning of the tour, you will be picked up from Antalya, so there’s no need to arrive anywhere else in advance.

At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off at the bus station (to Kumluca after the 5-day tour and to Olympos after the 3-day tour), where you can take a bus to either Antalya or Kas. Buses run every 40 minutes.

Alternatively, private transportation can be arranged to your desired destination for an additional fee, if preferred.

In April-May and September-October, it is quite hot. It's comfortable to wear shorts and a T-shirt, but there are thorns and sharp stones on the trail. There is a minimal chance of rain.

From November to March, it's cooler, so you should definitely have a raincoat and warm clothing for the evening (pants and a sweater).

In September-October and April-May, it is warm enough, with temperatures of 25-27 degrees. It is comfortable to walk in shorts and a T-shirt. There is a minimal chance of precipitation. From November to March, it is slightly cooler, with temperatures around 17-23 degrees. You should have pants and a windbreaker for trekking and dress according to the weather.

Demre:

• Visit St Nicholas church: This is one of the attractions in Demre. St. Nicholas, the 4th-century bishop who inspired the legend of Santa Claus, is said to have served here. The church is a pilgrimage site, famous for its beautiful Byzantine frescoes, sarcophagus, and the tomb that was believed to hold the remains of St. Nicholas. You will not visit it within the tour so it is a good option for an additional activity.
• Spend time on the beach.

There is not much to do in Demre apart from that, so do not plan to stay there for a long time. It is the best just to come and sleep and depart to the trail the next day.

Locals most often do not speak English. You can use Google translate to communicate with them. You can download the language to your phone in advance and then you can translate without using the Internet.
